We ended term on a high note with both grades 7 and 8 completing their respective units and summative assessments. It has only been 4 weeks of in-school teaching for me and I am loving the experience. I thoroughly enjoy teaching your children and I daresay, challenging them to always question critically any information presented to them. In fact we go so far as to say “we study WHY? with Mr Dass”. We are in that phase where children are starting to discover and apply research and communication skills, and to understand that self-discipline is an important component to doing something well.
I wish you and your children a happy holiday! For those that observe Christmas as a religious holiday, it is a time of promise and hope in the world – much needed in these Covid-times. Be safe. Keep it simple. Be with family. If you are going out, remember: mask, sanitize and social distance!
