After yesterday’s first session in the OmanSail classroom, students enjoyed a nice dip in the Millennium pool.
Later in the evening, Hector and JG took on the challenge of cooking veggie, chicken, and beef burgers for the group. At the same time, Ali, Georg, and Ms. Rehil got a nice fire going and brought out the marshmallows and skewers. The atmosphere at camp was relaxed and welcoming. Nature put on a lovely show with a big, full moon and a hint of bioluminescence at sea.
Bright and early this morning, we shared breakfast and then went back to the classroom to continue dive training. Students gathered at the pool, where they took a swimming test, practiced putting on their equipment safely, and did some initial dives.
