Yeah…Genetics: that fascinating area of the Sciences. Two of our grades are studying Genetics this week: grade 7 Science students started the unit on inheritance with a Genetics scavenger hunt and grade 12 Biology students are covering the IB Genetics chapter (last one to finish the SL syllabus).
Grade 12 Chemistry students just finished the Biochemistry option and are close to finish the whole syllabus (SL and HL). That should give us plenty of time to revise for exams.
Grade 11 Biology students are finishing the last Biochemistry unit (Photosynthesis) and the grade 11 Chemistry students have just finished Bonding and are starting a unit on Measurement that will come handy for their internal assessment.
Important things will be happening over the next couple of weeks: MOCK exams, Oman week, group 4 project, etc.
