Well…three weeks into the academic year and we are all already making a lot of progress.
Grade 7 students continued with the first unit talking about coordinates and maps. We hunted together a hidden treasure within the school premises and enjoyed an stimulating outdoors activity.
Grade 11 Biology students finished with cell ultrastructure and got started with membranes, and the Chemistry students continued with Stoichiometry calculations, this time related to empirical and molecular formulae.
Grade 12 students finished the digestive system in Biology and started with the circulatory system…we can already smell the heart dissection coming next week. In Chemistry we finished with properties of acids and bases and performed yet another titration, this time a back titration for a change. Grade 12 students are in the process of selecting their IA topics, so they are extremely busy at the moment.
