After two re-schedules for the younger ones and one for the older ones, the dance performance finally went ahead today as a whole primary school event.

The students did an amazing job, showing their abilities in ever increasing complexity as the ages went up. The littlest dancers showed their abilities to move through levels and tempos with force and strength and as they got older, tumbles, rolls and varied use of canon came into play. The grade six piece was original to the students, who made up three main sections which were then moved around into a complex arrangement with help from the teacher and further ideas and suggestions from the students. The music for this dance was an original composition by Mikkel Skjald.

I include the videos taken during this assembly; thanks to Mikkel and Mr. Hurst-Mawasse for taking charge of this.
