On Monday ABIS hosted its first ever Inter School Swim Meet and apart from lightning, thunder and the odd drop of rain it was a highly successful event. Even though the event was cut short by the weather conditions we did manage to run half of all the individual swimming events and all of the relays so that everybody got a swim. The competition was held in a very friendly atmosphere promoting a good bond between the two schools and hopefully leading to more of the same events in the future.
Competition wise our swimmers put up a great effort against their Muscat counterparts totally dominating the relays and being highly competitive in all races. Certificates will be given out next week.
A big THANK YOU to those teachers who volunteered to help out and make a special day. Well done all.
