All of the secondary students appear to have their noses stuck in a class novel for English class. The grade 7 class is reading Iqbal and looking at the issue of child labor. The grade 8 students are reading Shabanu and looking at the universality of adolescence. The grade 9 class is reading about the dystopian society in Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 and the grade 10 group is having a good laugh over Oscar Wilde’s play The Importance of Being Earnest. The IB students are analyzing Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four and McCarthy’s The Road.
