Back to school time can be such an exciting time!
What we have done at the first week so far:
Set clear expectations for engaging in problem solving and discourse
Used progressions to bridge last year’s content with this year’s content
Gathered observational data before administering formal assessments
Created a culture of high-expectations along with room for mistakes
