Hello, I’ve been getting ready for the start of school, meeting all the staff and looking at class lists. I cannot wait to see you all when school opens, it would have been great to see you in person but till I arrive in Oman we will have to get used to seeing each other via Google Meet. Whilst getting ready for school has been really busy, I have also taken time after school to be balanced and active. I have taken our dog for hour-long walks in the surrounding countryside and also been an inquirer finding out what a khanjar is and its significance in Oman. Mr Adams showed us a picture of one in a quiz and I wanted to find out more about it, I did some research and inquired into what the khanjar is and found out that it is a traditional dagger from Oman and is the national symbol of Oman. Now I’m looking forward to seeing one in person but I also learnt that if unsheathed it has to draw blood. See you all soon.
