Things are moving so fast at ABIS! Looks like we are just getting started with the year and suddenly we are nearly in November.
This week was a week to test and finish topics off in Science.
Grade 11 Biology students finished properties of water and will get started with carbohydrates as soon as we resume lessons. Grade 11 Chemistry students finished with atomic structure and are getting started with electronic configuration, a fascinating topic involving some complex quantum mechanics concepts.
Grade 12 Chemistry students finished with reactivity series and are getting started with voltaic cells. Grade 12 Biology students are about to finish human physiology SL and to start the HL part.
Finally, grade 7 students worked on a project to investigate forces and acceleration using balloon carts.
Now a well deserved holiday and we will come back with recharged batteries.
