Two dissections happened this week with grade 12 Biology students as they covered the Human Physiology topic: a goat’s heart dissection and a fish dissection. We will be finishing next week with the respiratory system and continue with the last SL sections.
Grade 11 Chemistry students finished with a Stoichiometry and were practicing problems for the test next week. They will start with Atomic Structure soon.
Grade 11 Biology students finished with the chapter on cells and will be starting with Biochemistry next week.
Grade 12 Chemistry students finished with the chapter on acids and bases and will be starting Redox next week, plus another chapter test.
Finally, grade 7 students collected data in the track field to calculate acceleration and to start working on speed-time graphs next week.
Lots of units finished and new units coming up soon. Very exciting.
