G7 & 8 students are engaged in solving real-world problems through scientific investigation that could lead to actual solutions! This involves developing a hypothesis, conducting experiments and collecting data that will either prove or disprove their predictions. Projects include trying to understand the effects of global warming on the ocean currents, investigating stress and ones ability to take tests, and determining the most efficient biofuels, just to name a few.
Projects will go on display during the STEAM fair that is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22. G7 & 8 parents will be invited and more information is coming soon about when and where the STEAM fair will be held. Hope to see you there!
