Grade 7 is currently learning about sound waves in Science. When exploring how sound waves travel through a medium, we took the opportunity to become particles ourselves. This was supposed to help visualise how the compressions and rarefactions that make up the longitudinal wave help transfer the sound energy. The picture shows the students transferring a ‘sound’ wave through the material otherwise known as Grade-7.
