Grade 5 recently completed an epic journey; the researching and writing of their own information books. This was a multi, multi step process but the final products were well worth the effort and wait. To facilitate the process, the student authors wrote about a place they have been to. Reflecting the diversity in the class, the locations were scattered across the globe. Once all the researching, writing and constructing were finished the student authors conducted author visits to all the classes in the primary school. The younger ones were thrilled to have real authors in their classes and gave them all their attention and asked lots of questions. Enjoy the pictures from the author visits.
