What an amazing week it’s been!

It started with Service as Action presentations at the secondary assembly on Sunday. First Rayan presented her and Sheiam’s project to run football tournaments in the first semester. They aimed to develop their leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Floris and Mohammed followed and presented their project of upcycling go-kart tyres in order to develop their creative /designing skills. Their goal is to take action by helping reduce go-kart tyre waste by making planters or art pieces out of them.

To end the week, the students engaged in their second session to learn about AI and responsible use of it. Today, the focus was on the impacts of AI chatbots. The students recorded what they already know about how chatbots work and impacts on our lives. At the end of the session, they worked in pairs to complete a worksheet based on their viewing of how AI chatbots work and their impacts. Their next session will be on the impact of AI on critical thinking and computational thinking.
