This week Grade 8 students engaged in a hands-on demonstration to learn about population growth. They could visualise the impact birth rate and death rate has on population growth. Students had to apply their Math knowledge of equations to calculate whether a country is experiencing positive or negative growth. This led to a discussion into the factors that impact population growth.
