Grade 11 students have demonstrated impressive dedication as they work through Structure 1 following their review of pre-IB chemistry concepts. This week, they completed their first official assessment on:

  • Structure 1.1 — Introduction to the particulate nature of matter

  • Structure 1.2 — The nuclear atom

  • Structure 1.3 — Electron configurations

Scripts will be marked and returned promptly, with revision scheduled for early next week. The class aims to complete Structure 1.4 — Counting particles by mass: The mole and Structure 1.5 — Ideal gases before the October break. Their positive engagement and persistence are highly commendable, and we encourage them to maintain this excellent momentum.
