This week, Grade 8 students continued their exploration of predator-prey relationships as part of their Interdisciplinary Unit (IDU). This collaborative project integrates math, science, and design, allowing students to create models of selected national parks. Through this hands-on work, they are investigating biotic interactions within these ecosystems. By understanding the dynamics between predators and prey, students are preparing for their assessments and are expected to deliver comprehensive presentations. This unit not only enhances their knowledge of ecological relationships but also fosters teamwork and critical thinking skills, setting the stage for successful learning outcomes.
