Grade 9 students started their first week by creating introductory posters about themselves for me to get to know them. They also identified the ways in which they learn best.

      They then dove into their first MYP unit for the year which will be assessed on Year 5 criteria. They began to explore key terminology to use for analysis of travel writing and had an opportunity to go on a walkabout to share their current knowledge and understanding. In this they got to practice Criterion D – Using Language.
