Throughout this week, our focus has been on exploring non-standard units of measurement by utilizing various materials available in our learning space. Our objective is to develop the skill of estimating object lengths and measuring them accurately, emphasizing the importance of aligning materials edge to edge. Within smaller collaborative groups, we observed some children naturally assuming leadership roles, providing support to their peers who were uncertain about the sequence of tasks. Witnessing these displays of leadership is truly uplifting, as it reflects the traits associated with the IB Learner Profile. Below are some captured moments from our engaging activity.
