This week the students in Grade 8 have been honing their Tonal Drawing skills. They have focused on Tonal Shading, using a range of Tonal Values to show light and dark contrast in their work. Later in the unit they will design Movie Posters showing line, tone, colour and pattern. The picture below shows some of the students with their tonal drawing studies.
