In English we have been continuing our unit on trying to fit in. Have read the first 6 chapters of ‘The Outsiders’ by SE Hinton, discussing themes such as family, friendships, gangs, self identity and violence. Students are working on character sketches as a formative assessment.
In I and S we are continuing with our governance unit. Students completed a source analysis of monarchy. We are investigating democracy and will be completing a research project on totalitarianism.
