Next week, we will be finishing up our film unit in grade 10. This exciting unit culminates in an exciting field trip to the cinema. We have been studying how to analyze film and more recently how to produce film reviews, including through writing, video and audio presentations. Now, it is almost time to put our knowledge to work in an authentic situation by actually reviewing a film. In early October, we will be going on a field trip to the cinema to view a film and, afterwards, to write a review on it.
