This week has been very busy with assembly rehearsals that have included the student’s music performances. The students are beginning to bring all the hard work together ready for an amazing performance.
Students form grade 9, 10 and 11 volunteered their time to visit Kindergarten and Grade 1 to introduce their instruments and share their knowledge. Each student gave some information about their chosen instruments and then played it for the students.
The students had a real treat and experienced many new sounds unique to each instrument. The students and myself would like to thank Julia (piano), Pedro (drums), Tanya (tuba), Mahwish (trombone), Maria (clarinet), Francisco (electric guitar) and JG (Saxophone). You all inspired the children to take up an instrument when they are older.
