Our class wondered many things recently about rocks, like where the lines and holes come from and how they are different colors. After observing and sorting rocks the last two weeks, we are looking forward to measuring and painting them soon! Even with a holiday in the middle of the week, we also worked hard at building sight words with pattern blocks and play dough, reading the pictures of story books, listening to books online, reading the words of levelled books, and retelling stories read aloud in class. We’ve started rotating in small groups through our learning centers and trying to get back in the groove of being at school in person!
