Grade 7 and 8 students have been investigating the UN sustainable development goal # 5, Gender Equality. In their investigations, they have taken surveys, calculated ratios, and created posters sharing their data. They have also practiced a visual note-taking strategy called sketch-noting, which we will be revisiting a little later in the unit. This week students really focused on coming up with clear and focused research questions, along with evaluating sources.
