G7 Oman Week

What a great week we have had with the grade 7 students. Our focus for the week was Sinbad the sailor, who reportedly originated from this part of the world. Let me break the week down in pictures.

Research and presentation of Sinbad, life during those times and how to navigate

Students learnt how to use a compass and completed a teacher guided treasure hunt. In teams they needed to use a compass, a measuring wheel and treasure map…..

Next students created a treasure map and then teams completed each other’s maps…

Certificates handed out at the end of the week
Students completed 459 laps during the walkathon that’s 183.6 kms. Well done to the students.

A successful and fun week was concluded with a movie, some popcorn and a game on the sports field. A big thanks to all students from Mr Isles, Mr Dass and Mr Healy
