Today, the students in Grade 10 presented nearly a year’s worth of hard work in the personal project feedback exhibition. The event was held during our 12:20 advisory block and all Secondary students and teachers participated, along with some families and other special guests.

A big thanks to everyone who helped make this event possible, as well as to everyone who attended, filled out surveys, and engaged in questions and comments. Although the event has just passed, already I have gotten some overwhelmingly positive feedback from fellow teachers who were impressed by the depth of our students’ research. Some students who began the day with nerves left at 1:00 with smiles on their faces, surprised by the number of supportive comments and survey responses that they got. One student even shared that she had great fun!

Students, please remember that final reports are due to supervisors by the end of the day on December 17th. Also, I have sent out a survey today requesting feedback on how today went and how we might improve the exhibition for next year; responses will be kept anonymous, and I would appreciate a reply before winter break. But for now, please rest and enjoy your weekend!
