This week everyone has been reflecting on their performance over the last 5 weeks. Being reflective is one of the IB Learner Profiles:
“We thoughtfully consider the world and our own ideas and experience. We work to understand our strengths and weaknesses in order to support our learning and personal development.”
Through the lens of learning remotely, with me stuck in the UK and my students in Oman and beyond I believe I can truly say we have been demonstrating the Learner Profile of being reflective in every lesson. We are building on our remote operating skills and the biggest point that I am taking away from this time is that Video Lessons take a toll on all participants and by Thursday we are all visually tired. We all need to take a rest from Video meetings whenever possible. Have a Great Weekend and see you all after the October break.
