Balloon powered cars!
This week Grade 9 have been putting their creativity skills into developing balloon powered cars using simple materials such as balloons, paper cups, plastic straws and rubber bands. By using Newton’s third law of motion which states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, students inflated the balloons and as the force of the air leaving the balloon pushes the car forward.
