This week we looked at the difference between living and non- living things. The students did their own investigations and shared their criteria with us.

Ahmed says his toys are not alive because they are not breathing and they cannot eat.
Khalid sorted toys into groups of living and non living. He concluded that animals and people are examples of living things because they can eat, grow and breathe.
Mohammed shared his toy “ Marshall” as an example of a non – living thing because he cannot eat and play and his bunny as an example of a living thing, because he eats carrots.

We also looked at communicating through drawing. The children drew pictures to share their news.

We looked at the meaning of Perspective. The students shared their favourite stories and gave the reason why.

Some students spent some time outside, planting and appreciating their surroundings.
