Miss Sahar’s and Mrs Howes’ Grade 7 students shared an authentic chance this week to learn more about our Arabic-speaking community’s culture and traditions – with students leading the class. Grade 7 French are inquiring into identity. One question we have is : How does image convey meaning and culture? We enjoyed finding out first hand from our friends here in school about Arabic dress and the interesting differences between the cultures of our Omani, Egyptian and Jordanian friends in Grade 7. Thank you to the students for some beautiful presentations and answering our many questions! French students even had chance to try out some Arabic!
