The Butterflies worked on developing their observation skills this week. We read a book I went walking and discussed what we might see outside. Then we split into two groups and went for a walk, took photos of our findings and compared them afterwards. We also practiced to use magnifying glass to notice smaller details than with just our eyes. We used a microscope on an iPad to observe what a moth looks like up close and created the missing side on the photo. On Wednesday, we did observational painting outside.
