The K1 and K2 students held a movie day. It was a fun way for them to use their understanding of number in a practical way and put to use what we learned about roles and responsibilities in our UOI.
The students took responsibility to pack out the chairs, make tickets, make money, number the chairs and put them in order, helped with the popcorn and setting up the shops. They each had a responsibility for the day. Some were selling snacks, selling juice, selling tickets and taking the K3 students to their numbered seats, etc. It was a huge success and everyone had a great time. Afterwards the students helped pack up the chairs and clean up the mess.
