The Model United Nations ASA is in the final stages of preparation for a major MUN conference in Qatar. This year ABIS will be representing the two countries of the Netherlands and Rwanda. This week we were fortunate enough to have a real United Nations representative, Ms. Ella van den Heuvel visit our MUN ASA. Coincidentally, Ms. Ella happens to be from the Netherlands and represents the Netherlands in the United Nations. Additionally, Ms. Ella pointed out that she will be working closely with the Rwanda U.N. this coming week. This proved to be ideal for our students get answers to questions about the tough issues they will be addressing at the conference in Qatar. Issues related to human rights, climate change, food shortages, nuclear threats, peaceful uses of outer space, and much more.
