We are in December already and the winter break is here. We have been covering topics non stop the last few weeks, especially with exam classes.
Grade 7 students continued studying the periodic table, gave presentations about some elements and played with different arrangements of the periodic table to justify the one we currently use in Chemistry.
Grade 11 Biology students finished with the HL section of nucleic acids and will start with respiration and photosynthesis in January. Grade 11 a Chemistry students are currently practicing Lewis structures and further exploring covalent bonding.
Grade 12 Biology students continued studying the nutrition option and the grade 12 Chemistry students nearly finished the organic Chemistry topic…only stereoisomery missing for January.
