What country am I representing? Is my open speech ready? What issues are we addressing? Is my “Operative Cause” strong? Will my resolution pass?
Just a few of the questions Model United Nations (MUN) students are asking themselves as they prepare to be delegates at the upcoming MUN conference in Muscat on Nov. 8-9. There around 500 students will convene to discuss and find peaceful solutions to global issues. Preparation is very important as the student will be exploring the following issues related to:
– migrant workers remittences
– cyber interference of democracy
– prohibiting weapons of mass destruction
– eliminating modern forms of slavery
– youth empowerment and more…
