After reading the dramatic adaptation of Dracula, the students have developed their appreciation of how suspense is created. They practiced with another short story, and are developing both comprehension skills and analytical ones. They are moving towards creating their own suspense stories, and how to create a character that is both terrifying and sympathetic.
