Hot weather and manual labor make for a thirsty job this time of year. And, as our beautiful new school is going up, we are grateful for the worker’s efforts! To express our Gratitude the new ABIS Community Service (CS) team provided refreshments and snacks to a crowd of 140 workers.
As we arrived on the building site, all 140 works were sitting inside the new school building patiently waiting, and applauding our arrival. We came with 3 ice chests full of juice drinks and croissants. Noaf (G6) gave a short speech to say “Thank You!” and all the CS students handed out drinks and snacks. The workers were very appreciative!
Part of the ABIS mission and vision calls for us to become “global citizens” and this includes showing care, kindness, and concern for everyone who is a part of our community. This was a great example of doing just that. Keep up the good work CS! Together we can make a difference!!
