Over the past few weeks the Grade 7 and 8 students presented a Humanities topic to their peers. While this can be a daunting task, they all did an excellent job and should be proud of their achievements. This week we followed this up with a reflective activity where I asked them to watch a recording of their presentation and reflect on the feedback I had given them and also on one area they should work on when they prepare another presentation – no matter for what subject! The look on some of their faces was priceless as they watched and, most of all, listened to themselves! I have also asked them to show it to you, their parents, at home so you can help them focus on areas to learn when they are preparing their next presentation. However, most were reluctant to do this so make sure you ask!! It’s on their iPads!
