This week we began looking at the areas of objects. We made a prediction about what the measure might be then measured them using cubes. Counting in 10’s really helped. We explored directions using up, down, left, right, north, east, south and west.

Today students in grade one and six bravely had a booster vaccination. Thank you to parents for completing the consent form and returning it to school.

This week we worked with each other, our grade 4 buddies, and Ms. Marie’s class. We worked with each other on skip counting in math, we worked with our grade 4 buddies to create a city landscape, and with Ms. Marie’s class to create a community.
