On Sunday, Grade 7s engaged in an adapted zig-zag activity. The activity’s purpose is to allow students to share their individual learning with their peers. To this end, each student completed a different homework task and in class the students shared their learning from their homework with peers in class. They did this in a format similar to ‘speed dating’ where one half of the class moved from one seated student to another. In this way, each student learned to adapt their discussions to the time limit set and to listen to what their peers learned and make notes.
