G8 Mathematics spent much of this week recapping key Number concepts, including the order of operations. Next week, we will revisit ratios and proportions, algebraic expressions and geometry before beginning our first G8 unit, Forms of Numbers.
In our first G8 unit, students will explore rational and irrational numbers, exponents, powers of ten, scientific notation and surds. Students are encouraged to bring a calculator to lessons.
