This week has been testing Grade 7 students skills at task and time management. They had to plan their revision and study schedules in order to cope with a week of summative tests in Math, Science, Humanities and French, as well as homework. Many students showed that they were able to plan ahead and could meet the demands of this week. A few still need to work on their organisational skills as they opted not to do homework assignments because they had not planned and revised consistently ahead of summative tests. The calendar on Managebac is a significant tool that helps them to strengthen time and task management; therefore, students must check it every day.
Having observed the grade 7 students this week taking their tests, I am very proud that they are now fully comfortable with IB rules for taking exams and follow the rules well. Well done, grade 7s!
The week ahead is another week filled with summative assignments in Music, French, and English, and the Ministry of Education exams. Students need to be well-rested and well-prepared for the week ahead.
