This week, our Grade 1 class dove deep into a full spectrum of learning activities that were both challenging and fun! In Math, we explored the essential concepts of place value and subtraction. The students engaged with hands-on activities to strengthen their understanding of numbers and how to manipulate them effectively.
In Literacy, we focused on personal narrative writing. Each student crafted their own stories, emphasizing a structured narrative with a clear beginning, middle, and end.
We spent time in our Unit of Inquiry reflecting on what we’ve learned so far. The students articulated their thoughts and made connections between their studies and the world around them, showing remarkable growth in their cognitive and expressive abilities.
