Greetings one and all-
Another week has passed us by with much learning with fun and games. In 2+2=5 Ms. Sri is introducing to the younger students a game called BUMP. They get to practice their fast facts AND their spelling of high frequency words. The middle group, led by Ms. Amy, learned a game called “Honey Comb”. In this game, not only are addition facts practiced but students also work on strategies. Our older kids, lead by Ms. Stephanie, worked on a Magic Square challenge as well as using geometric shapes to fill a space. As always, we encourage math at home as there are many opportunities to help your student be math minded with a growth mindset.
