As part of Criteria B: Developing Ideas in our Design class, students were tasked with creating thumbnail sketches for their cultural clock design. By thinking creatively about the arrangement of signs and symbols from the country they investigated and applying composition rules, students explored various options for their designs. This process allowed them to evaluate and refine their ideas. I’m excited to see how their strongest and most effective composition sketches will be developed into the final artwork.
