A few weeks have passed since Explore Oman week, but such a fun and rewarding trip still deserves a post.  While we were out “Exploring Oman” and all its natural beauty, we also had the opportunity to explore a bit of ourselves by becoming risk takers and trying new things with enthusiasm and confidence. Grade 3 embarked on their first ever overnight camping trip to Wadi Dam and enjoyed a few sights and activities along the way. Favorite activities included viewing the beehive tombs at Bat, exploring the campsite and surrounding farm, cooking pancake breakfast, climbing over rocks and scree on the wadi hike, racing hand made recycled materials boats down the filaj, campfire games and songs, and visiting Fort Ibri. Some trip highlights are documented here in the slideshow. If you would like copies of these photos and others please let me know and we can arrange it. Thank you to everyone who participated in the trip, particularly those who were involved in the planning and execution. Ms. Sandy, Ms. Anja and Mr. Younis, your creativity, positivity and knowledge made this trip a huge success. Thank you!
