We have been reading ‘The Crucible’ by Arthur Miller and investigating how the principles of the time mix with hysteria to create tragedy. Students have created character sketches and will be seeing how Miller uses conventions of plays to make his points. Our last assignment will be students rewriting a scene from the play in Modern English and acting it out.
