Grade 10 Individuals and Societies students are currently working through a unit on Human Geography and Development. This unit of inquiry covers topics such as economic growth and development indicators, industrialization and technological advancement, and population change. Through a case study approach, students are building both the content knowledge and skills necessary to improve on the MYP eAssessment. This week our focus has been on source analysis as we have practiced the skill of evaluating different types of text to identify strength and limitations with regard to origin, purpose, and content. This skill is essential not only for success on the eAssessment, but also for a range of courses in the Diploma Programme.
